this movie might be good. but it probably won't be! how good could a movie about the odyssee even be at all? interesting though, that this is a review before the movie can be reviewed. it just refers to the trailer. matt damon as odysseus?? if i understand the text correctly the author is in doubt about the moviie's quality too. it won't be faithful to the story at all. but still. it might be good, or at least not bad.
i recently read a variation of the odyssee by claire north, the songs of penelope. three absolutely fantastic books about the final story of the book, when odysseus arrives back home at ithaka. the perspective of penelope, odyseus' wife! a fantastic read.
