2022/2023: Everyone believes that "The Metaverse" is Zuckerberg's 3-D virtual worlds. And that its official trademarked product name is actually "Metaverse". And not Horizons.
2024: Everyone uses "The Metaverse" for the whole of Meta's products. Facebook + Instagram + Threads + WhatsApp. Minus Horizons which hardly anyone remembers ever having existed.
Only exceptions in both cases are cryptobros, Neal Stephenson readers and
OpenSim users.
