I've written a small Python program for sending zabbix alerts to one (or more) matrix channels. Works fine, now I've got two different ways of getting alerts: If mail fails (for example, if the mailserver should be down) I'll still get alerts via Riot/matrix. If my matrix homeserver should have problems, I'll still get alerts via mail.
