in general i don't think i have made up my mind bout this bds movement yet. i saw what the german bundestag said about it, listened to several discussions on the radio and the net. and i'm still undecided. one of the major criticism in the german media was that bds ist basically antisemitic. a reproach that got vehement opposition from other people.
but this commentary here changes my mind somewhat. one of the founders of bds is writing a long article about the suffering of the palestinians. and all he is talking about are the israeli airstrikes and the palestinian resistance. not a single word about the rocket attacks. as if they hadn't happend or were negligible.
i can't find any direct antisemitic parts in this text. but it shows, that bds at least doesn't intend to become part of a solution towards a peaceful coexistence of isrealis and palestinians.
