We had someone in our grid who was a female elf and rather small herself. She also wore a "cutesy" but black T-shirt and some rainbow-coloured clothes in addition to otherwise mostly black plus combat boots. And I've rarely met anyone in-world who was snarkier than her.
Needless to say that she was kicked and banned for allegedly being a kid countless times.
Unfortunately, we haven't heard anything of her since New Year's Eve 2022.

I'm small enough to trigger many childgates, and I guess I have actually triggered one or two. My skin is probably too light and my hair too short. I occasionally wear pink. Or flat sneakers, maybe even with white socks and/or a short circle skirt.
Still, my style of clothing is associated with "granny" much more often than with "kid".
