On the one hand, you have to expect the whole Fediverse to be your audience. Anyone can stumble upon your content on some federated timeline, and they can be blind or easily triggered in some way.
On the other hand, you cannot count on having more audience than your immediate contacts. Even some of them may filter your posts, or they may have muted or blocked you but never disconnected from you.
