This one of the largest misconceptions in programming: The near religious conviction that goto is evil. No it isn't. In fact a well placed goto can make the source code more readable and in fact modern constructs like exception handlers are nearly the same: throw XYZ --> catch XYZ is really not so different from goto XYZ -> label XYZ:

What I'm trying to say: You can abuse nearly every language construct (including goto).
