Things to know about Hubzilla:Not everything in the Fediverse is modelled after Twitter.
Hubzilla is a fork of (a fork of?) what eventually became Friendica. So it's based on an alternative to Facebook. Also, Hubzilla is 10 months older than Mastodon.
Don't expect it to be a Twitter-like micro-blogging platform with extra stuff glued on. And don't demand it become one for the convenience of Mastodon users.
