oh my, another one dead. i came to know jon hassell's music in the early eighties, as a part of the music bubble around brian eno, talking heads, and others. he was the world music part of this bubble. i really loved his music but most of it i had only on tape. so when my cassette player broke down in the early 90 i kind of lost contact with him. only recently i ran into older disks like
fourth world music or his cooperation with farafina again.
