way back in the eighties this song was my first encounter with arabic language music. a friend had this one record of fadela and i had a copy on tape. this tape stayed with me for more than a decade and eventually got eaten by a vicious tape recorder, like it happend with nearly all my tapes, particularly the precious ones. i then even forgot the name, all i remembered was "it was something with f .. or d .. or so" ... and that it was a kind of new wave rai ...
when the internet came up and youtube popped into existence i developed the idea that i could search for this music online. and after several attempts i finally made it 2 years ago. but what i had found was "just" a lp, and i failed at digitizing it ..
but again youtube came to the rescue and so here is my saturday night music ...
and i still have absolutely no idea what they are singing about, it just sounds as great today as it had back then ...
