And now (after X hours.......) also in my test channel this connection with that group is ok...
Maybe it was just a matter of time and patience

So I deleted my connection and tried to re-connect to the same group.

Last time, I used the green Add button on my Connections page. This time, I used the Follow button on the group page.

The result is the same: red dot, no actual connection.

I also tried to connect to the Friendica support forum, also to see if the issue might be on the side of venera.social. Same result, added to my list, but no actual connection and a red dot.

Maybe we should take this to the support group.
