Especially if they're virtual? They're still one of those great German inventions.
All the things you don't have at virtual Christmas markets. No SARS-CoV-2. No influenza. No assortments of other germs at icky food booths. No ginormous crowds of people queueing in front of mulled wine booths and not realising that they're closing off half the market. No weight gain one month before Christmas already from stuffing yourself with Schmalzkuchen or roasted almonds or maroons.
