Seriously, by far most beaches on the #
Hypergrid make it hard or even downright impossible for you to go into the water because the owners can't imagine that anyone would actually do that. And I'm not even talking about swimming yet.
Oh, and speaking of beaches: Growing up in northern Germany which does have nice beaches, but not the same climate as southern California or Hawaii or the Caribbean, I've been taught by the grown-ups to get out of my wet clothes quickly after swimming. I still do that. The only exceptions are when I absolutely can't change anywhere without being caught breaking the rules of a #
beach sim,
and the climate is hot and dry enough for my bathing clothes to dry quickly enough.
