I've boosted my (public) synapse instance by using the worker feature - now it really runs smoothly. I've wrote a small article, mostly config stuff.

Hi @Mark Nowiasz I just used your guide and worked as expected. I would get nowhere with the official guide.

Some proofreading:

federation_reader.yaml and frontend_proxy.yaml appear twice.
user_dir should be user_dir.yaml
