last night i was woken up again by the radio. my bedside radioy plays my standard station for about one hour after i go to bed. normally i fall asleep immediately. sometimes i wake up again.
this time i was woken up by the presentation of this music. a cd by jon hassel and farafina from the 90s republished.
i had heard this record way back in the 90s and i never could remember what musician it had been. i have vaguely associated it with brian eno, but it wasn't his. now i know why: there is a record of brian eno and jon hassel's "fourth world music" that is very similar to this. similar but different.
really: german radio, rbb (radio berlin brandenburg), radioeins: the music to listen to at nighttimes. full of surprises .. :-)
