@NorVegan "Repeat" is Hubzillish for "boost", in case you're more used to Mastodon lingo.

@Jupiter Rowland Not really, I thought it would be reposted on my channel, but I guess that's 'share'. So if I understand correctly it gets shared to my connections without being reposted on my channel.

@NorVegan The difference is:

"Share" is a quote-post. It creates a new post and inserts a dumb copy of the post to be shared.

"Repeat" is a Mastodon boost, a Twitter retweet. It forwards the post through your channel to your connections, but the unaltered post itself. It's a "repost" in the Tumblr sense.
