One criticism I have against some atheists is that they criticize the Church and the State, but not Capital.
Which is either very naive or very bad faith. Historically, religion and the State have been instruments of the ruling class.
In all eras and in capitalism this is no different. All this dynamic is very useful for maintaining the status quo and the workforce.
