🧵I think what I find most infuriating is thanks to this covid brain injury most of my usual skills are currently unavailable: community building, organizing systems, making connections, fostering conversation, prioritizing and finding effective levers.

My ability to communicate or process information in real time is just shot. Which is a powerless and helpless feeling...

I desperately need the brain rest, and for everybody still with the chuff to be in the fray you'll need your moments of solace to recover for the next round.

I recognize (and enjoy) the irony of trying to share silence on social media but I have some ideas, and am gonna need your help...

🧵 1) I'd like to try and share more of my moments of rest and stillness, and lean into photos when I don't have the words, but I may need some help with the alt text.

Can somebody remind me what the alt text help tags are, and explain that process for me and for lurkers? And give a wave if you'd like to be tagged on a photo to help me directly with some alt text, that could work too...

@jupiter_rowland I used alt text 4 me yesterday. The post sat around for a long time. Eventually I was able to add the alt text myself because I was no longer preoccupied. Promoting these practices is good. So far they aren't working smoothly.
