Since native boosts will become a feature in Hubzilla, while you are at it, could boosts have a separate notification category?

I don't mind boosts and sometimes they share really cool things, but it always falls in the category of "view later." It clutters up by notifications with stuff that I don't want to view right now.

Maybe boosts and likes should be their own notifications, and new posts and comments be a different notification.

I just hope that native boost blockers also become a feature at the same time. Not being able to generally block reshared posts is already a nuisance when having many contacts (like i do).
Native, self-explaining and versatile filtering options are also very much missing for exactly the same condition: Handling many contacts and pre-filtering unknowns/non-contacts.

@_jayrope Especially since it seems that the way posts are being boosted is changing. The usual ActivityPub boost filters

are slowly but steadily becoming hit-and-miss.
