The problem with stupid, ignorant people is that there are so many of them that they can form a party that gets enough votes to make politics absurd and cause a lot of damage. The principle of power by the majority only works if the majority were made up of responsible, sensible, educated and intelligent people. We all know it isn't.
Similar to the principle that a dictatorship would work if the dictator is a careful, nice, intelligent and educated person who only makes sensible decisions. We all know this almost never works.
The question is, what are we going to do to change that?
