that's a strange thing to do but possibly very british. the blame game is on and for once it is not the eu in general that is accused, it's only the irish. the irish are responsible of the brexit clusterfuck. as one comment to this article says:
First of all, the fact that the EU has got Varadkar to turn the Republic of Ireland into a suicide bomb to damage a state that voted to leave it does not equal 'supporting Ireland'!
it is funny (but it was all foreeable) how the brexit promises degrade from "minimum dividend of 350 mio pound per week and it will be british genius to thank for" via "it won't be all bad, just like before and the eu is guilty" to "it will be ok again in 2050 and it's the irish to blame". foreseeable were the degrading promises and the exceeding blame game. that they now focus on the irish is a little astonishing, as if the brits just now had noticed that they have an irish problem at hand!
the blame game is on and the british media and politicians froth at the mouth already.
i wonder where the british delusion comes from that the brits think everybody would regard them as extraordinarily polite? they definitely are not!
