When disabled Fediverse users demand participation in accessibility discussions, but there are no discussions in the first place, and they themselves don't even seem to be available to give accessibility feedback

What should happen:

I'm unsure about how to handle an edge-case in describing and explaining images that has never been documented because nobody seems to ever have come across it. I join a forum-like structure in the Fediverse and ask. A bunch of people, including blind or visually-impaired people, give me the needed advice.

What actually happens:

I assume from a couple of posts and polls with not even a dozen votes each what image descriptions and explanations have to look like. I spend hours or days describing and explaining each image in tens of thousands of characters. After a dozen images or so, one user writes that my descriptions are too long.
