@dynamic Conversations on Android and Gajim on the desktop. Modern native clients, which don't cause much problems.

Thanks for your response. I've heard good things about Gajim before. But also I seem to be having trouble getting it to install correctly on Ubuntu 22.04, so I'm interested in learning what all else is out there.

In the meantime, I'm still using Pidgin, which people seem to find confusing, but it does seem to work?

My favourite #Jabber clients are:

#Gajim by @gajim on desktop, because it is featureful and mature.

#Dino by @dino on mobile, because it is responsive and slim.

I also use #profanity by @profanity once in a while, and the versatile #libervia command line tool by @Goffi. Very powerful!
