I opened a lot of Beta starters. My first, and only, Alpha starter deck had Stasis and Darkpact.

You get more power for having a colored mana versus a generic mana.

I taught a lot of people in the early days trying to find someone else interested in playing. I taught my dad pretty early.

How many colored mana pips a card has is more about play balance and color adjustment than about how much of a color a spell is colorpiewise.

So on the WeeklyMTG stream they said that Wilds of Eldraine was not designed with a 3 year rotation in mind, could you tell me the first set that was? or will, I suppose? codenames fine of course depending on how far off it is.

Polo (coming out early 2024) was the first set to be aware of the rotation for some portion of its play design. Quilting was the first set to have the majority of its play design aware of the rotation. Rugby is the first set that knew for all of its play design. Each set from Swimming on knew of the rotation at an earlier point in design, the earlier the farther out we go.

Why does the card ______ Goblin, which interacts with letters in names, get a pass as tournament legal but Gray Merchant of Alphabet, who arguably has a similar effect, is not legal?
