What are your thoughts on making Cephalids and homarids octopus and crabs respectively?Good question. For clarity, Naga becoming snakes matters because snakes as a type matter. Crabs don't, and Octopi do but as part of "Ula's" batching, paired with the other 'sea monsters': Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus, or Serpent. There are also more Cephalids than Ocotopi and Squid combined, so it'd be a boon to have Cephalids be recategorized as Octopus.
I don't think there's any real pressing demand to change them, and they're a Magic original creation, in my person opinion I'd leave as-is.
Homarids are also a Magic original creation, and there's no crab or lobster typal to speak of, so there's also no pressing need. Plus Khod, (the playtest card) batches aquatic humanoids in a fun way that makes it worth keeping them unique.
I would want to unify Homarid and Camarid though. I don't know why different life cycle stages would require a different type, and Camirids mostly seem a holdover from older token rules (namely that the name of the token is the type of the token).
