In Hubzilla I like to come back to older posts and add to them with comments.
Yesterday, I happened to notice that a comment on a post about three years old was not syncronised with the clone. Similarly, a comment on the same post, written from clone, is not synced with the primary hub. I have noticed the same behaviour with another post about three years old.
In testing, a comment on a post about a year old was synced correctly.
Tomorrow I would like to try to find out by some tests if there is a certain point in time in the past, after which it might not be syncronised anymore. To do this, I will start again in the past and then approach the present in time steps.

This means that you might see old posts of mine with short comments in your stream. I hope that I don't disturb the peace in your stream too much and that I don't bore you.

If the observation is confirmed by the tests for me, I would write a separate post about it, with the request to you to try to reproduce this behaviour.
If it turns out that I am not the only one with this unexpected behaviour, I would report it.
