@shanselman If it’s really the productivity that we need, lifting people out of poverty will solve that need. Nothing kills productivity more than lack of access to food, housing, and tools of trade.

AI does nothing towards solving that.

@shanselman@hachyderm.io when risk of imminent death forced everyone home, and as a consequence the emissions dropped drastically, their response was to start burning forests to feed their engines and force everyone in the office to breath it in. AI is a byproduct of that, so though luck.

When I asked my manager about also reducing my workload, he told me to use AI. (He was kinda joking, but not really.)
