I'm still also a Mastodon user, learning federated social media over there now makes me ask here:
Is there a simple way to
separately
see
followed,
followers and
mutually following connections?
Thanks in advance.

Hubzilla uses contact roles. You can easily view the members of each contact role using the contact role app. Of course this is also the place where you can easily create and manage your contact roles.

I think what @
_jayrope :hubzilla:
meant was a feature in the Mastodon contact list that shows
followed = everyone whom this account follows
and who follows or doesn't follow it
followers = everyone who follows this account
and whom the account follows or doesn't follow
mutually following connections = everyone whom this account follows
and
who follows this account
This is an original Mastodon feature which Hubzilla doesn't have in its four-years-older list of connections.
I think the closest thing may be the dots on the pictures of the connections:
red = followed
yellow = mutual connection granting limited access rights
green = mutual connection granting less limited (?) access rights (there's no documentation on this)
This, however, cannot be filtered.
