1) There's a permanent conversation as experienced Mastodon users try to educate new users on the "proper" use of content warnings. This is natural and benign.
2) There is ALSO an ongoing conversation about what "proper" does/should mean. This convo is also natural and benign.
What chafes my nuggets is when people with strong opinions about #2 try to propagandize their arguments by pretending they are educating (#1) instead of advocating (#2).
Happening a lot lately.
