Worked out how I'm going to try to interact with Lemmy-built sites from here. Follow gaming communities I'm interested in, but add them to a list and hide posts from my Home feed.

Mostly interact via comments due to limits with trying to post threads from a microblogging account. I'll have to look into gaming communities on Mbin for sort of better compatibility.

@Gmr Leon The main obstacle is that Mastodon has little support for titles (except for using them to show Article-type objects instead of their full content; long story) whereas they're absolutely mandatory in the Threadiverse.

Also, prepare for people on Lemmy being very irritated about hashtags. And people on Mastodon being very irritated about what your toot looks like.
