@stefan without an option to mark an image as being purely decorative I’m not sure this would be a good idea. Forcing people to describe images that are purely decorative can be worse for accessibility.

I’d worry about using AI to describe images for this reason too. Does the AI understand if an image provides important context or has just been included to be attention grabbing?

A description of what the video is about?

Or a detailed, time-coded description of the actual visuals throughout the whole video plus a detailed, time-coded transcript of the audio in the video?

If the latter, what details are required, regardless of topic and content?

"Reminder to alt-text your images. If you are low on spoons, please use #AltTextHelp and someone from the community should be able to help and provide it."
I think it's a good balance.
