#fediverse is ever to go even partly mainstream, say 10 million active users, we will have to have a clear eyed look at what ordinary
#socialmedia consumers want as an interface. Then either alter one of the
#platforms, mostly likely
#Mastodon, to meet those expectations, or build a new
#ActivityPub platform from scratch that will. Otherwise admit to ourselves we just wanna be
#niche.
