Hello,
I've opened a channel with an rss feed as its source. Is it normal that diaspora and mastodon subscribers do not receive messages from this rss feed? My hubzilla account is receiving messages well.
have a good day

yes this is a known bug / incompatibility with how ActivityPub works. I really wish a work-arould would be added though.

It is the same when me as X posting on other channel Y.
It will not distribute and Y's AP subscribers won't see it.
I think except suggested setting (post as channel owner) that could distribute to AP as
Y boosted X's post.
Subscribing to forum type channels when different people post is now not federating anyhow.
Maybe also my personal channel X subscribers do not see such post, so this kind of activity which i use often renders invisible to AP
I think Y boosted X's post kind of message (which comes to me from AP, so Hubzilla understands that) would be nice.
