I really like Space Games, but in reality I don't think reaching other stars with sublight speed is possible. Too slow, too much energy needed. If there is no secret trick to shortcut it (wormhole or something), then we never reach even the nearest star. And even a wormhole will most likely need more energy we can possible find and use.
