Do you want to do something for fun, something that may seem crazy or strange to others? And the reasons for not doing it are like, you're too old, it's not appropriate for your position, other people might think you're a nutcase? Then you really are a nutcase. A dead nut.
As long as things don't endanger anyone else, don't think about it for long. Do it. Life is short enough. Don't make it boring too. There is absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about. ;)
