Animation of the solar eclipse on August 12, 2026, which was only partial from my location in Recklinghausen, Germany. The individual frames were captured at 3-minute intervals leading up to the peak of the eclipse. Each frame is a stack of the 25 best frames selected from a set of 100. The seeing becomes noticeably worse toward the end of the video due to the low position of the Sun. Recording time: 17:14–18:12 UTC
