Since switching the clone account to the primary account, I have noticed some other problems.

1. I do not get any email notifications, other account owners on the server have no problems with that. The normal notifications work though.

2. My profile picture is just not synchronized although I have the same profile picture on both (Clone and Primary) appears in some posts the rainbow man as my profile picture.

The conversion from Clone to Primary is already a few weeks ago, so it should not be a cache issue or anything. Any Ideas?

1. Settings -> Notifications -> Email notification hub - in multiple hub or relocated environments this needs to be updated to point to the hub you want to get email from.

2. A temporary copy of the profile photo is included in the import file. There may have been issues importing it although this has been working well for quite some time. All your other files (and the full version of the profile photo) will have to be fetched using one of the file import tools/addons. Hzfiles for most sites and 'Content Import' if both sites are running 4.x or later

@Mike Macgirvin ⚡ Thank you! I missed that with the eMail Notification hub. But the problem with the profile picture, I uploaded the picture everywhere but in some new posts, it is still the rainbow man. :-(

The same thing happens to your own profile picture @Mike Macgirvin ⚡ . In my stream your profile pic is an rss icon and my profile pic is the one i decided. Will i have a look into the original post here on zotadel, i see your face as your profile pic but in my its the rainbow man.

That's a different problem. I'm posting from Zap and there are still a few zot/zot6 compatibility issues. This one is known and a possible solution is slowly working its way through the development process. It is not yet available on production 4.0 sites.

When you do upload a new profile photo it can take a couple of days before it is widely dispersed around the network due primarily to caching issues. There may still be a configuration issue at your new clone site, and there may be a software bug. There were some glitches with photo sync to clones in the distant past but as far as I know these were all resolved at least a year ago.

I will note that 4.0 adds an 'expires' field to the photo table. I don't know if the person doing the expiration work ensured the field would sync properly between versions. (Usually we only provide sync compatibility in the forward direction, since the older software has no way of knowing what fields have been added). If one of your clones is running an older version this is likely to be the source of the problem you're experiencing.

They are both on Version 4.0

There were some glitches with photo sync to clones in the distant past but as far as I know these were all resolved at least a year ago.

That's what I expected so I changed the Profile picture to a new one.

There may still be a configuration issue at your new clone site

Is there a place my admin can take a look for that possible configuration issue?

'Expires' field was added to serve photo cache system and I'm believe it doesn't involved into profile photo update procedure but possible should. Now we store profile photo modification date as for local photos and photos fetched from remote hubs as well in 'edited' field but I'm not sure if it is currently used in the update process for the avatar.
