Konsave lets you save, apply and share Linux desktop theme customisations

KDE, especially, is known for its amazing themes and theme customisations. With that can come lots of tweaking, and then forgetting how to get back to what you really liked. Or maybe you want to share that fantastic theme combination that you got right with friends.
Konsave helps do all of this very simply and effectively. I do like that all its options are logically named like -r for remove, -l for list, etc. So, although it is command line driven, it is really easy to use.
It officially supports KDE Plasma, but can be used on all other Linux desktop environments too. It is an open source application written in Python.

Nephrite’ is a Classy New GTK Theme for Linux Desktops

One of Linux desktop’s most prolific — not to mention best, imo — theme makers has released a brand new GTK theme for us all to go gaga over.
Designer Vince Liuice’s latest creation is called Nephrite, and it was made available to download from Pling and from GitHub this weekend.
Nephrite maintains the high quality this theme maker is famed for, and the theme looks pixel perfect on my high resolution display, i.e. no blurry corners or pixelated edges some themes inadvertently offer.
For KDE users, it's already in the Global Themes download section, so just two clicks to install it. I do like the distinctive rounded corners.

Ever find yourself wishing your GTK theme had a bit more depth to it?
If so, check out the Skeuos GTK theme by Daniel Ruiz de Alegría. His sumptuous skin skewers modern expectations by embracing the bevels, drop-shadows, and gradients most modern themes actively avoid.
The result is a confident look with real visible visual hierarchy to it. Buttons look like buttons, toggles look like toggles, and focused elements have clear presence — you won’t mistake a label for an action while using this theme.
Even if you don't use Gnome, it is well worth having a browse through the latest theme releases for your desktop, as the last year has produced some great looking themes (especially dark) which gives your desktop a whole new look and feel.
